Fall Milling Season
Milling our own lumber provides us with an opportunity to have a great deal of control over the guitar building process. We take trees which were felled in storms or had to be removed due to other considerations and convert them to lumber which is then dried and used in our guitars. In addition to finding use for material which would otherwise be burned or shredded, we can custom cut each piece to provide for maximum figure. It is however dusty, noisy, exhausting work. And in the end, totally worth it!
